ABOUT THE PIE STORE
Samantha opened The London Food Company on Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair, NJ after moving to New Jersey from Essex, England. She wanted to bring the hearty savory pies that are a staples of British cuisine to a new audience in America.
In 2008, she moved the business into Montclair’s historic Watching Plaza next to its sister store (The Tea Store at 106 Watchung Ave) and grew it into New Jersey’s premier destination for homemade British pies and baked goods. It also carries a selection of hard-to-find grocery imports and sundries.
With a large community of British and Irish expats in the community , The Pie Store quickly gained a reputation for offering the best British foods and treats.
